The 7/8″ master cylinder is designed to be used on a majority of trailers that are utilising a hydraulic brake system. It is the pivotal part of your brake system which activates your brakes, so it is important to use DOT 4 brake fluid. It is used in conjunction with a override coupling to activate your trailer’s hydraulic brakes.
